Excellent service and reasonable price. Second time using them for electric repair. Replaced 2 old kitchen light switches. Arrived on time. Replaced switches quickly and cleaned up work area. Small job and didn't have any rush fixing them, but we were scheduled for the next day. Appreciated the quick fix. New update - 3rd time using KSB to add GFI outlets for washing machine and near cellar sink. Same remarks as before. They are the best of the best.

Fantastic electrician to deal with. Staff was kind and polite, communication was easy and prompt, estimate was written up same day, Called on a Friday and was able to get an appointment for the following Monday. Installer was on time and well prepared, great guy overall, with a professional and motivated attitude. Installation at my commercial business was top notch, exactly what I wanted, and nobody got zapped. Price was reasonable, especially considering I was hoping for a rushed appointment which they provided, and I unintentionally became one of those annoying customers with multiple questions, lack of knowledge, and changed my mind a few times regarding what I wanted completed; which they handled very professionally. Five stars all day, highly recommend KSB Electric. I have dealt with numerous electricians over the years, and from here on out, KSB will always be the first I call for any commercial or residential electrical needs I may have.

I can’t recommend KSB Electric enough! I bought an older (built in 1964) house in the spring, and it needed lots of electrical updating (not to mention removing scary-looking wiring that the home inspector pointed out). I talked with three electricians in all, and I was so impressed with Kevin, the owner of KSB, that it was an easy choice. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, but he is able to explain things in such a way that even someone with zero knowledge about this stuff can understand. And choosing KSB for all the electrical work was one of the very best decisions I made on the long road to buying the house and getting it ready to move in! Kevin is amazingly responsive (wow!), Carol in the office is superb (organized, prompt, helpful, awesome), and electricians Tony and Tommy are absolutely phenomenal— from the first day of work here I knew this ole house was in the best of hands with them! KSB upgraded the electrical panel from 100 to 200 amps in preparation for installing central A/C. And they did all the electrical for the A/C when that got installed a couple months later. It’s notable that when the town permit dude came by to inspect after the A/C job was done, he found a relatively minor error in the HVAC company’s work (so he couldn’t approve the HVAC part till that was remedied), but when he looked at all the electrical, he kinda lit up and said, “Well, that’s PERFECT!” 😀 KSB also added recessed lighting (on dimmer switches) to three rooms and a hallway and removed old, weirdly placed ceiling lights. They swapped out an old circle-dial thermostat for a new digital one, they replaced all the two-prong outlets for correct, safe modern ones (there were the old kind everywhere, just all through the house!). They lowered outlets that were randomly up high in the wall; they added lighting to a lightless basement stairwell. And one of the very best things and one of my most favorite things of all (and that’s including all the work I’ve had done on the house so far, not just electrical) is something Kevin suggested: replacing these old, weird, low-hanging, huge, dust-catching, pull-chain lights in the basement laundry area with sleek, clean, bright, efficient modern lights tucked high into the ceiling, all connected on one joyous switch. Ah! I love those so much (and I’m not alone—many people have complimented them). Kevin was able to size up what that space needed in an instant, the first time he walked through it! In addition to his electrical prowess, he’s friendly, considerate, reliable, and super smart. A true pleasure to work with! Additionally, KSB added a generator hookup (we have a well, so we’d lose water if we lose power). Their pricing is fair and invoicing is clear and thorough and easy to understand. And when I thought all electrical work we needed was done, Xfinity came out to install internet, and it turned out we couldn’t get the modem put where we needed (in a home office that had been soundproofed). The Xfinity tech explained what an electrician would need to do to make it ready, and I texted Kevin to ask if it could be done. Even though it was a Saturday, he responded immediately (and I hadn’t expected that, so I was extra grateful for it!). And he knew the house better than I did (not kidding!), b/c he knew the path it would have to be wired to reach that room. He and Carol were kind enough to adjust the next week’s schedule to allow Tony and Tommy to come out and get it done before we moved in (I nearly cried with gratitude! That was so helpful and they for sure didn’t have to do that!). It was a tricky job b/c there was insulation in the walls already, but true to form, these superb professionals didn’t complain at all, they just did their usual stellar trademark job 🙂 I will only ever call KSB for any kind of electrical service I need— this business has proven itself again and again and again in my book, and I couldn’t be more appreciative and more impressed! Thank you so much, Kevin, Tommy, Tony and Carol! You are rockstars in what I imagine is a very challenging industry!
